Why Have A Homeowners Association?
The RiverWoods Homeowners Association (RWHOA) helps to maintain the community in a way that improves the quality of life for everyone, and also helps increase the value of all the homes in RiverWoods. The purpose of the RWHOA is to oversee the maintenance of all common and recreational areas in the community, and to assure that all property owners comply with the by-laws established for the common good.
Who Belongs To RWHOA?
In this beautiful, planned community each homeowner is automatically a member of the association and agrees to abide by the Covenants and Restrictions. Members also agree to pay the annual assessment to cover association expenses.
How Your RWHOA Works For You
Summerhomes, Incorporated, the developer of RiverWoods, established architectural standards and compatible exterior paint and stain color schemes to ensure a rich visual effect and pleasant living environment. The interior decorating of your new home is entirely up to you, of course. But what you do on the outside of your home or in your yard affects all of your neighbors and the entire community, not only in appearances but in the value of the homes. Because of RWHOA you won't have to worry about neighbors turning their yards into auto repair shops, or a parking lot filled with boats, trailers, or travel vehicles. This eyesore is not permitted. You also won't have to be concerned about any unsightly sheds or shacks being erected since any such buildings must be approved and must meet design criteria.
An Ideal Environment
As you can see, the RiverWoods Homeowners Association is dedicated to making your life in the community as pleasant and harmonious as possible while at the same time protecting your investment through reasonable covenants that work to increase the value of your home. This gives you an overview of what to expect as a resident of RiverWoods. For complete details on how your investment is protected, please refer to your copy of the Declaration of Covenants and Restrictions.
